تقديم به آنانی كه انسان را به انساتيتش میشناسند و بر او ارج مینهند
قرنها پيش از اين دوران، كه عدهای بر طبل اختلافات دينی و مذهبی میكوبند و در ميان مردمان تخم نفرت و تفرقه میپراكنند؛ مردی از ديار راستان بنيان همزيستی مسالمتآميز ابناء بشر، آزادی فكری و عقيدتی، صلح و ارج نهادن به انسانيت انسان را بنا نهاد.
21 مهر ماه مصادف است با فتح شهر بابل توسط “كوروش بزرگ” و صدور فرمان آزادیهای اجتماعی و عقيدتی كه امروزه به “منشور حقوق بشر كوروش” مشهور است.
به همين مناسبت “كتاب عزرا” كه به بخشی از فرامين كوروش بزرگ؛ و تاريخ و فرهنگ ايرانزمين اشاره ن
موده است، و اخيرا خوشنويسی و تزيين و طلاكاری آن به اتمام رسيده و به زبان اصلی نگارش گرديده است را تقديم میدارم به تمامی همنوعانی كه ضمن باورمندی به دين و آيين خود، به عقيده و آيين ديگران نيز احترام قايل میشوند. كسانی كه بر انسانيت انسان ارج مینهند و آن را بر اساس گرايشهای فكر و دينی محك نمیزنند.
اين اثر ارزشمند هنری نمادی است از فرهنگ ديرين ايرانيان و سندی است ماندگار از صلحطلبی و احترام به عقايد مختلف و زندگی مسالمتآميز مردمان اين سرزمين كهن.
اميد است دوران نفرت و اختلاف و جنگ و خونريزی به بهانههای دينی، مذهبی، قومی و نژادی بسر آيد و بار ديگر شاهد دوستی، صلح و زندگی مسلمتآميز ابناء بشر در جای جای اين كره خاكي باشيم.

To those who recognise the human being with humanity and value it accordingly.
Centuries ago, when people were highlighting the religious conflicts, and were spreading the seeds of hatred and division, a man, from the land of the righteous, inaugurated the foundations of peaceful coexistence, freedom of opinion, tranquillity, and respect for the humanity of human beings.
13th of October coincides with the conquest of Babylon by Cyrus the great, and the issuance of the declaration to social freedom, and freedom of opinion, which nowadays is known by name of Cyrus cylinder of human rights.
In accordance with this occasion, I would like to hereby dedicate to the citizen of the world; those who practice their religions whilst paying respect to the faiths of the others, value humanity above human being, and never judge or evaluate based upon personal opinions and religious beliefs; the book of Ezra. A book which emphasises some parts of Cyrus the great’s declaration, as well as the history and culture of the land of Iran; and has recently been calligraphed, embellished, gilded, and scribed in its original language, Hebrew.
This precious piece of art is a symbol of the prehistoric culture of the Iranians, and i
s an everlasting verification and proof to the peacefulness and irenic lifestyle of its citizens, and their respect to the beliefs of the others.
It is hoped that the period of hatred, conflict, war and slaughter under the excuses based upon religion, faith, ethnicity and race would come to and end, and once again, the humankind witness fraternity, peace, and tranquillity on earth.
